The Fort Worden Lifelong Learning Center Public Development Authority (FWPDA) Board of Directors is composed of seven to eleven members with varying professional backgrounds relevant to the unique needs of the Fort. The board works to implement the direction and help guide the operations of the Lifelong Learning Center. They hold monthly public meetings to discuss budget, project, and operational needs.

The Mayor of Port Townsend, with the concurrence of the City Council, appoints the members of the FWPDA Board of Directors. The Board of Directors overseas the PDA activities and establishes and implements PDA policy. The Board of Directors also appoints the Executive Director who manages the day-to-day affairs of the PDA. 

Agendas & Minutes

Meeting materials can be found in the agenda center. Agendas are posted at minimum 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Meeting minutes are posted the following month after approval by the board.

2023 Meeting Schedule

Meetings are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month (except for Nov. and Dec. due to holidays) in the Fort Worden Commons, with remote access on Zoom.
